The glorious triumph and the song\u2014
\nThe gifts of God to me belong.
\nThe place of honor is my right\u2014
\nPartaker with the saints in light.
\nWho would not die for such a life?
\nWho would not dare the present strife,
\nFor such a victory as this\u2014
\nFor such an end of crowning bliss?<\/p>\n

They told me only of the cross
\nOf shame and sorrow, pain and loss.
\nThey told me \u2014and my eyes were dim\u2014
\nThat I must give up all for Him.

O crowning glory of the cross!
\nO wondrous gain from all my loss!
\nI come and lo! all things are mine\u2014
\nYea!\u2014all things in the life Divine.<\/p>\n

All things are mine\u2014not far away,
\nHereafter\u2014here and now\u2014today!
\nOn earth I reign in life by One,
\nComplete, accepted, in God\u2019s Son.

The writer of these words, Edith Hickman Divall, wrote the above poem out of the depth of her own personal experience. The oldest child in a large family, Edith was sent for a short period, to a farm run by two aunts who knew little about raising children and Edith experienced cold, hunger, and other hardships. She was a delicate girl and throughout her life, experienced violent headaches. Her poems later were distributed widely and brought blessing to many. Her story is found in Loneliness, the second book in the \u201cCall Back Series,\u201d and written by Edwin and Lillian Harvey, It is published by Harvey Christian Publishers and available in their Online Christian Bookstore.<\/p>\n
