I think their uniqueness lies largely in the fact that many of these books are compilations.In one fairly small volume, you can read what some of the most godly men and women have had to say on subjects such as prayer, the importance of God\u2019s Word, the power of the Spirit, the unity of Christ\u2019s body and many others. These quotations lead the reader to the book from which they are quoted and many have said that, in this way, they have been introduced into a new world of biography where saints of the past become friends and mentors who encourage the reader to press forward in the Christian life, regardless of the odds against them.<div class=\"bg-margin-for-link\"><input type='hidden' bg_collapse_expand='69d2a430758bb2053555209' value='69d2a430758bb2053555209'><input type='hidden' id='bg-show-more-text-69d2a430758bb2053555209' value='Continue reading...'><input type='hidden' id='bg-show-less-text-69d2a430758bb2053555209' value='Show Less'><div id='bg-showmore-hidden-69d2a430758bb2053555209' ><br \/>\nThese compilations were made possible by use of the Harveys\u2019 extensive files. Lillian Harvey experienced long and frequent bouts of bronchitis in the damp British winters and would be forced to spend days, even weeks in bed. This meant she had ample time to read and, if something blessed her, she would mark the passage, and, in the early days, later type it out if it were from a book or cut it if it were from a magazine, and then file the clipping away. Later the photocopying machine made this process so much easier and gradually, a room full of files were collected\u2014biographical, topical, and textual. From these came books such as \u201cKneeling We Triumph,\u201d \u201cSoul Sculpture,\u201d \u201cThe Call Back Series,\u201d \u201cRoyal Insignia,\u201d and many others.
